Mrs. E.L. Johnston Dies Following Stroke



"Mrs. E.L. (Tuck) Johnston, age 78, died Wednesday morning at her home
in Madison after suffering a stroke the night before. Mrs. Johnston was
the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jess Mallory. She is survived by
her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Joel Johnston of Clarence, a son, Fred
Johnston of Madison, 5 sisters, Mrs. Maud Johnston, Mrs. Cora Walters,
Mrs. Pearl Clark, Mrs. Mandy Bowman, Mrs. Logan Webb, 2 grandchildren,
Laverne of Laramie, Wyoming and Patsy of Madison, one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. The family is waiting to
hear from Mrs. Johnston's grandson, Laverne in Wyoming."
