from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie
Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Funeral Service Monday For Mrs. Ragsdale
"Mrs. Lillie Maude Ragsdale, daughter of Elizah Combs and Elizabeth
Combs Musick, died Sunday morning at the Pleasant View Rest Home in
Paris. She was 80 years old. Born April 26, 1875. She married Julius
Ragsdale, and to this union 7 children were born. Mr. Ragsdale preceded
her in death in 1947. For the past 7 years, she had been in poor
health.. She is survived by 7 children, Otis Ragsdale and Mrs. Florence
Stone, Moberly; Mrs. Walter Powell, Mrs. Paul McCann, Madison; Harold
Ragsdale, Middle Grove; Hatten Ragsdale, California and Miss Nellie
Ragsdale, Fulton; a brother, W.E. Musick, Huntsville; 21 grandchildren
and 21 great grandchildren. The body laid in state at the Thompson
Funeral Home until the service which were held by Rev. Roy Heifner of
Moberly, conducted at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial was in Sunset
Hill Cemetery."
