Funeral Rites for Mrs. Kelly B. Wilkerson



"Mrs. Kelly B. Wilkerson, of Columbia, Mo., formerly Inez Royer or
Madison, passed away early Monday morning, January 23rd in Columbia.
She was 77 years old. The Wilkersons were also residents of Mexico, Mo.
For 35 years. The family moved to Columbia in 1929. In Mexico, she was
a member of the First Christian church and active in PTA activities.
Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her husband, Kelly B. Wilkerson, who was a
nurseryman in Mexico, 7 children, thirteen grandchildren, six brothers
and sisters. The children are: Miss Leona Wilkerson, Des Moines, Ia.,
Mrs. Jessie Heil, Berkeley, Calif., Royer Wilkerson and Mrs. Anna
Blanche McQuerter, Columbia, Mrs. Dorothy Kinney, Webster Groves, Milton
Wilkerson, Moberly, Mo., and Mrs. Martha Newman, Kansas City, Mo.
Surviving brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Leona Ozias, Eaton, Ohio; Mrs.
Lavinia Bennett, (Honolulu), T.H; Mrs. Eby Fudge, Holtville, Calif; Sr.
J. Elliott (Royer), Oakland, Calif; (Mr.) Wilson Royer, Perry, Mo., Mrs.
Agnes Atterbury, Columbia, Mo. Mrs. Wilkerson was the daughter of Jess
ie and Kate Royer. Services will be conducted from the First Christian
church, Columbia, Mo., at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan 26."
