Mrs. Essie Arnold



"Mrs. Essie Cray Arnold of Holliday died Wednesday morning in Woodland
Hospital at 10:00 after being admitted only an hour and fifteen minutes
earlier. Although in ill health for several years, her death was
unexpected. Mrs. Arnold was born in Holliday, the daughter of the late
Dan Lee and Nora Curtright, and had lived all her life there and in
Moberly. She was married to the late Holliday Arnold who died in 1954.
An infant daughter is also deceased. Survivors include two brothers,
Lewis and Boyd Curtright of Holliday, one niece, Mrs. Herbert
Halliburton, and other relatives. The body was taken to the Holliday
chapel on Thursday where funeral arrangements are pending. She will be
buried at Holliday with Rev. Arthur Landolt of Moberly officiating.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday at the Holliday Christian Church."
