Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Mrs. Rosa Brown



"Mrs. Rosa Near Brown, 79, died Thursday night at her home in Madison
after suffering a heart attack in the afternoon. She was born March 9,
1885 in Berry County, Michigan, a daughter of the late Arthur and
Melinda Wood Near. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis
Brown in 1945. The only immediate survivor is a son, Wesley Brown of
the home. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at
the Thompson Mackler Chapel with Rev. Wesley Harmon, Methodist minister
officiating. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Madison."
