Bert Reid



"Bert Reid, 69, in ill health for several years, died at his home at
Madison Tuesday night. Funeral services are being held at the Madison
Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with burial in Sunset
Hill cemetery in Madison. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John
Reid and is survived by his widow, the former Miss Zada White, one
sister, Mrs. Liza Mae Hoy of Kansas City; three brothers, Fred of
Madison, John of Seminole, Oklahoma and Tom of Waltham, Minn. Mr. Reid
farmed near Madison until ill health came and he moved into town. Mrs.
Louis White of Paris, a distant relative, was among those who attended
the services."
