Cora Ellen Turpitt



"Mrs. Cora Ellen Turpitt, 87, died at the Wildwood Health Center 11:00
a.m. Sunday where she had resided the past two months. Mrs. Turpitt was
preceded in death by her husband in 1949. Surviving are one sister,
Mrs. W.E. Powell, Evansville, Mo; six nieces, Mrs. Lillian Shepard,
Oklahoma; Mrs. Roy Forsyth, Mrs. Logan Watt and Mrs. Edward Malone,
Moberly; Mrs. Peyton Carthage, Mexico and Mrs. Mable Cole, Kansas City;
four nephews, Howard Powell and Robert Powell, Mexico, Elwood Adams,
Kansas City and Jimmie Adams, Moberly. Funeral services were held
Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Mackler Chapel with Rev.
Wesley Harmon officiating. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery."
