Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Thomas E. Woods
"Thomas E. Woods, 90, died at 11:00 o'clock Saturday morning at the
Pleasant View Rest Home near Paris, where he had been living for two
months. His remains were taken to Madison to the Thompson-Mackler
Funeral Home, and services held there Monday afternoon by Rev. William
C. Hern, pastor of the Madison Methodist Church, with burial in the
Madison cemetery. Mr. Woods, who since the death of his wife, the
former Miss Katie Pickett, had lived with his son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lee Woods. He had spent his life in the Madison
vicinity."
