Mexico Weekly Intelligencier, Thursday, Jan 5 1933 page 5 titled 'Mexico Woman's Mother is Dead', Mrs.Nancy Farris 84 year old resident of Middletown and mother of Mrs. Fred Farris of Mexico, died at her home Wednesday after a short illness. She had been suffering from the infirmities of old age for several years. Another daughter is Mrs. Riley Reel of Vandalia. Mrs. Farris was born Nancy Switzer and was first married to John W. Lowe. The daughters living in Mexico and Vandalia are daughters by her first marriage. She was later married to James Farris and two children survive this union. She leaves 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at Middletown by the Rev. W. A. Dameron with burial at Fairmont Cemetery there.
