I have a photograph that was probably made in the 1870's that says 'J.MARSTON Photographer, Montgomery City, Mo' on the back. I have others from that time frame that don't say anything on the back. I have one that was certainly made around 1884 that says 'J.S. INGLIS PHOTO ARTIST Montgomery City, Mo.' Hope this helps. Dru
