I'm not sure what the name of the old newspaper was that is there, there are
a few from the late 1800's all the way up to the current ones that are in
the office in Versailles, not sure if there are any available for the other
Morgan county paper (The Morgan County Press) or not, I never read it and
don't even know where it's office is located,, but it is produced by the
same people that print the Versailles Leader Statesman. They have a webpage
at:
http://www.vpi-newspapers.com/ so you might be able to contact them and see
what is available.
I think there are also some available at the State Archives in Jefferson
City.
