Hi Randy!
I think I hear suspenseful music from the silent movies playing in the
background! Yes, indeed! The Tom and Mary in Greenwood Cemetery would be my
great aunt and uncle! Hmmm. Thanks so much for keeping with the Tom Ferguson
mystery. We have another thread to pull here.
Brenda recently sent me a photo she had scanned from Dixie's book of a "Tate
Ferguson." We can tell that he doesn't look like Tom, but have not yet found
anyone with a Tate in their records. I am wondering if the mining "Tate"
might possibly turn out to be the other Tom. You know, like maybe most people
called him Tate as a nickname so as to not confuse him with our Tom. Well, if
this theory is right, uh.....someone ultimately and quite thoroughly confused
him with our Tom, if the Barber Shop saga is correct. Does anyone out there
know who the barber in Granby was back then? This would have been a little
before my dad was born in 1924. His dad, JOHN SHIPMAN and his aunt MARY
FERGUSON are the ones who told him about the barber shop incident.

I GET TO COME BACK THERE IN OCTOBER!!!!!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!
