Does anyone on the list have any information about John Newton who Newton
Co. Mo. is named after? I have searched through your web site and can not
find anything. I have been chasing a John Newton who was in Madison Co. AR.
in 1850. He was born @ 1777 in NC. Trying to figure out if he is any
relation to your Sgt. John Newton.
