My grandfather, Clarence Willard Barbee, held dual residency in 1919 and
1920, living in a boarding house in Picher and his family living in Granby
for those two years. This can be proved out by the 1920 census where he is
shown in Picher as a boarder, and Granby newspaper articles describing his
visits to his family on weekends. He eventually moved to Tulsa where his
children, my father among them, raised their families and Clarance and wife
Etta moved on to California in 1936. Dave -B
