I am researching Lucinda Elliott, mother of Serena Appiline Elliott Crain Davis Townsend (later spelled Townzen). Lucinda's last name was given as Bradley on her marriage certificate when she married John Elliott in 1836 in Greene county, TN, yet there is a great deal of evidence she was the daughter of Stephen and Mary A. "Polly" (Myers) Maness of Greene county, TN and Newton county, MO.

Is there anyone else researching these families on the Newton county list?
