Hi all. I am researching the BRANHAM's and RUTLEDGE's whom were in Newton,
and surrounding counties. I am particularly interested in Nathaniel
BRANHAM's descendants. Nathaniel was born abt 1784, and died 1876 in Newton
Co. There was apparently an obituary for him there in Newton Co. in the
Times, on 23 Mar. 1876. If there is someone who has easy access to that, I
would really love to have the info from his obit.

I am also interested in the descendants of Matilda BRANHAM, who was married
to Peter or Thomas RUTLEDGE.

Also, is anyone familiar with Nancy BRANHAM White? She was a daughter of
Nathaniel BRANHAM, and was living with him in 1870. I have been unable to
discover what WHITE she had been married to, and do not know if she had
children. Nancy was born in NC about 1813. If anyone is familiar with her,
I would appreciate hearing from you.
