Hi Darla,

I don't think its standing now. Certainly can't recollect seeing it last time I was home. Next time I speak to my Mum or Aunt I'll double check. It is possible that Saron and Sharon were interchangeable as in the Tredegar Chapel.

I guess I should read all the messages before I reply to one! So there is/was a Saron Chapel in Ebbw Vale (Briery Hill). Would anyone know where it is/was located and whether it's still standing? (And whether in the early 1840's it might have been called Sharon Chapel on marriage records?) It probably would be helpful to know if there are any records still existent so I could check for the marriage of my gg grandparents to be if this indeed is the right chapel.
