Hi David

I don't know if there is a listing for the railways, but I have just found
that the State government site - www.records.nsw.gov.au/ - is implementing
a new listing of Police Service Registers. It is incomplete at the moment
but may pay you to check it occasionally. I looked for Rendell on it but
nothing at this stage. Hopes this helps.
