Subject: Seeking CHURCHILL in GARWAY, 1851 &1861

Hi, I'm new to this list.

I'm interested in the CHURCHILL families, originally from St Weonards,
Herefordshire. A couple of branches of the family moved to Garway in the
1850s, and although I have a set of censuses for Herefordshire and can see
the Garway pages on some of those, it appears that Garway was classified as
part of Monmouthshire in 1851 and after (is that correct?) and I don't have
easy access to all the MON censuses.

My Herefordshire 1851 census index shows the family of James and Charlotte
CHURCH in Garway (piece 2444, folio 481) but as this appears to be in the
MON census, I can't easily view it. Could some kind soul please provide a
transcription? (I strongly suspect that CHURCH should be CHURCHILL.)

Similarly, if anyone has access to the 1861 MON census for Garway I'd really
appreciate a transcription of the same family at that time (or of any other
CHURCHILLs, although I suspect there are few).

Any help gratefully received, and if I can provide anyone with lookups for
Somerset / Gloucester / Devon / Herefordshire from 1841-1901 censuses,
please let me know.

Many thanks in advance.
