Please don't use the *reply* function to answer messages to the list! At
least don't use it unless you delete most of the previous message - just
keep enough to make sense of your answer.
There are three reasons for this:-
1. every message belongs to the writer and "technically" you will breach
copyright if you just send the whole thing back to the list again.
2. the messages get bigger and take longer to download - and there are still
a lot of people on 56K modems who are paying for every minute.
3. every message is saved to the list archive and each repeat message takes
up space. While it isn't my space it is finite and eventually the owners
will need to either empty it or begin th charge us for using it. I would
like that to remain a long time in the future.
