Can someone explain (myself being very much a beginner), what does the
above entry mean. If I am correct in my identification of John J Lowell,
he would be the father of Augustus Rene Lowell (my grandfather) about
whom I am gradually gleaning information.



I think this might be the beginning of a never ending story !
