Hi,
Thanks for trying to look. I have noticed that I paid MORE for my
Ancestry subscription this year and have less access. I accessed the exact census
I'm looking for before and now can't. I'd like to complain, but don't believe
for a second that it will do any good. We shouldn't be restricted from areas
that we were given access to before and PAID for with the assumption we would
have access and not then be denied later!! I really don't know what to do
about it!!???

Hello Renee,
I decided to have a look at the 1870 Pennsylvania census too -- and I have
the same problem. When searching for any name in Elk Co., I am given only
Millstone township.
Then I tried to go in through a different route: you first go to 1870
census, and rather than enter a name to search for, you choose Pennsylvania
from the states listed below, then individual counties -- when I choose Elk,
the only township I am "allowed" to see is Millstone. If I choose another
township in Elk, I am told I need to upgrade to the World Deluxe
Membership??? That makes no sense. If I have a U.S. subscription (which I
do), then I should be able to see all of the U.S. census, not just parts of
it. I wonder if that is the same problem you're having?
