Thanks so much for that info Robert.
Abednego is my gg-grandfather.
I have managed to find Abednego on various census but I havent had much
success tracing the rest of the family.

I didnt know there was a john, so thats a new one for me. I just recieved a
copy of the census page from another lister and it looks like John may have
been William's son but not Mary's.
Neither did I know William was the first name of her 2nd husband.
I have the family on the 1861 census (in Briton Ferry) and it says William
Anson 'absconded'.
My great uncle (also Abednego) who was the above Abednego's grandson, gave
me a lot of info, but seemed to think mr Anson was Dutch! Looks like the
census proves otherwise!
