G'day everyone

I haven't yet had a reply from my local booksellers, they are pretty good,
so I will hang fire until I do. Bookrings are a great idea, I spent 20 years
as a teacher/librarian here in Oz and used the principle in book promotions
regularly.

Perhaps the best idea would be for us to start a bookring for the book in
the various countries in which we all reside. There must be a fairly large
number of Monmouthshire listers who are resident in OZ, USA, Canada, etc.
That way the book gets a wide reading audience, the author will receive a
royalty for the various copies, and the people get to read the book a little
faster than using a single copy.

lot of blue in the sky seen from my study window.

If you send a book, and marked it "Printed Papers", the cost of posting from
the UK to the US is cheaper, for instance, airmail "Printed Papers" for a
200 gram book is £2.62, but it must not include a letter.
