You can often find these details yourself. Visit
http://www.freebmd.org.uk where the GRO indexes are being transcribed.
Up to 1920 is very nearly complete for births marriages and deaths.
After that date, things are sparse. FreeBMD is still very much a work
in progress, so expect things to improve.
