I'm just starting on my paternal EDMUNDS line & am stuck already!
I've recently received a copy of my grandfather's birth cert:
John EDMUNDS born 20th May 1919 Darenfelen Llanelly RD
Name and surname of father: Benjamin Edmunds
Name, surname and maiden surname of mother: Emily Edmunds formerly Rees
Occupation of father: Coal Hewer
Surname description and residence of informant: X The mark of Benjamin
Edmunds father Darenfelen Llanelly Hill
I've searched and failed to find a reference for Benjamin & Emily's marriage
- in fact, I'm starting to wonder if they ever legally wed!
