Barbara - I received the marriage cert. for Margaret and Charles W. BLADES
today. Her father is listed as John MORGAN - miner. It'll take some more
investigation to prove that her MORGAN family is below. I'm still interested
to find out why/how a girl (16 at marriage), from S.Wales ends up as a cook
in Alfow Lincs.
A couple of general questions for everyone. I cannot find Charles' death
between the time of the two marriages, so I am presuming that he was killed
in WW1, probably in the Royal Lincs. Reg., but I can't find a site that
lists WW1 deaths (although I haven't checked MI's in that area yet).
The other question cropped up when I was searching the death records, and
found all but one quarter's record. Does anyone have an explanation why we
find odd quarters missing, and is there any chance of them appearing at
sometime in the future?
Regards - Terry
PS - I think I'll post this on the Lincs. site also.

Barbara - I only have her marriage cert. Her husband was my 2nd cousin
Albert Edward DIPPLE.
In 1901 her family (5), and her mother`s brother Sidney COLE (14), are
living in 1 Pentwyn Cottages, Gelligaer. John MORGAN, her father is a
coal-miner.
Regards - Terry

Hello Terry,
I located the following both in the Registration District of Spilsby
Thomas G Blades age 38 Head
Lucy Blades age 37 wife
Edith A Blades age 11 daur
Charles W Blades age 6 son
John Blades age 32 Head
Martha Blades age 31 wife
Charles W Blades age 6 son
Charles maybe one of these, when you obtain the marriage certificate you
maybe able to connect one of the fathers named above.
Have you the names of Margaret's parents because I am unable to locate her
as yet in 1901.
