Hello Diana,

Being born in 1764 a long time before Civil Registrations of July 1837 is a
stumbling block for researching his birth, and not knowing where in Wales he
was born would mean a lot of Parish Records to search and that is if his birth
was registered in the Parish Book because not all births were recorded.
And Isaac Evans is a common name, you mention that he married in Bristol did
you view the Parish Register for this marriage and was there any other
information to assist you further.
