BRISCOE. In Proud and Loving Memory of Pte. Wyndham BRISCOE, 2nd. Batt.. S.W.B., who fell in the Dardanelles, May 14th, 1915.
BIRTHS.
BEER. May 11th, at 62, Stow Hill, Newport, to Mr and Mrs Clifford BEER, (nee Gladys EVANS), a son.
DIMOND.- May 11th, at 28, Redlaver-street, Grange, to Mr and Mrs Herbert DIMOND, (nee Winifred ROBERTS), a daughter.
EVANS.- May 12th, at 10, Tudor-terrace, Aberdare, to Mr and Mrs Mansel EVANS, (nee Nan LEWIS), a daughter.
MADDOX.- May 11th, at The Croft, Ystrad Mynach, to Mr and Mrs MADDOX , a daughter.
GOLDEN WEDDING.
ROBERTS - WILLIAMS.- At Bethesda Baptist Church, Tydu, on May 14th, 1874, by the late Rev. John THOMAS, Wiliam the only son of the late Mr and Mrs Charles ROBERTS, Pontnewydd, to Selina, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John WILLIAMS, Tydu. Present address: Tynewydd, Pontnewydd.
DEATHS.
EVANS. May 12th, suddenly, at Beaufort House, Grove-road, Bridgend, Edward Thomas EVANS, (beloved husband of Gwen M. EVANS), Assistant Teacher, Old Castle Schools, Bridgend. Funeral Thursday from the house to Nolton Church, 2.45; thence to Coity Parish Church Burial Ground.
EVANS.- Monday May 12th, at 1, Hazelwood-road, Neath, Dianah, widow of the late William EVANS, (formerly of Pontardawe, Ynyspenllwch, and Clyne Tin-plate Works), fell asleep, aged 80. Interment at All Saints, Pontardawe, on Thursday, 15th, May, at One o'clock. N.F.
GOULD Monday May 12th, suddenly, at Bournemouth, W.H. GOULD, beloved husband of Bessie GOULD, of Penarth. Funeral arrangements later. G.O. N.F.
