I have been researching these Montgomery's. My great grandfather was David
Montgomery, b. 1842 in Howard Co., Missouri. He married Emily Murphy on
June 11, 1863 in Howard Co., Missouri.
I'm sure this is the same family because I found him listed with the same
brothers and sisters on the 1850 and 1860 Howard Co. census.
The younger girls names, Narcissa, Malissa and Permelia, were listed with
their parents on the 1879 census. Their names are unusual enough to lead me
to say this is the same family. I also found the marriage of Permelia in
Randolph Co.
I have not been able to find the parents place of death and burial. Have
you?
