Maurice's parents-George William Montgomery b. 2 Aug. 1873 -Cedar Co, Ia ,d. 6 July 1913 in WayneCo, Ne. came to Wayne Co in 1902. Mother, Emma Jane Benshoof b. 5 Feb 1871 in Ia, d. 3 Aug 1965 in Wayne Co, Ne. married 30 Dec. 1903 in Wayne Co, Ne. Her first husband was Hiram Oman and had two children. Children by George, Mariam b. 7 June 1905 m. Carl Pfeil, Maurice and Florence b. 2 Sept 1911(she never married) took care of her mother.

Paul Benshoof father was Paul b. Oct 1775 in Franklin Co,Pa d. Dec 1854 Cambria Co,Pa was a wagon maker. Pauls father was Christof Banzhaf who left Ausburg, Gemany. Fought for the English in Rev. War, was taken prisoner by Americans. He was a follower of John Huss , Christof came to US in 1764 on the ship William Johnson.
Louisa Coopers father was Ian (John ) Perry Cooper a sliversmith who immigrated from Scotland to Tennessee.
It appears Irene Runge's parents are Fritz and Hannah Runge, all born in Missouri
