Barbara,

I am interested in the Botetourt Moore families. I have a Thomas Moore
who married Martha Wood around 1800 in Botetourt County. I have not
been able to connect him to Stephen Moore and the others. Do you know
if he is related to that family?

I know Moses Moore because he was the brother of my 2 great grandfather, Stephen Moore. Moses and Stephen were the sons of William Moore and Elizabeth Patterson. They were born in Botetourt County, Virginia, and moved to Madison County, Ohio, where they were married. Their grandparents were Stephen and Catherine Moore and William and Mary Ann (Hancock) Patterson.

I have some information about Saretta King and her ancestors in my file.
