Subject: [MOOREGON] plat/plots of land description....huh??

Okay you guys, I need help. I just got this email from someone who is
wanting a 'translation"... it's all Greek to me, so does anybody know
what she is talking about and what all this means?

Lanita

"I received in the mail today and packet of papers and on two of them
are graphs of plots of land (best way I can describe them) and dates
along with F.C. Not sure what the F.C. means however this says in one
of the squares:

E19588
William Denton
2-4-1858

On the outside edge of this one with William's name is "Oregon County"
so I presuming it to be a land plat of Oregon County. The other one
could also be because it fits like a glove when you put them up together
except some of the little squares in it have changed like ownership and
some have gotten bigger and others have gotten smaller.

I know it sounds like I am rambling and I apologize for that.

On the other graph is the name of Jacob Denton (my
greatgreatgrandfather)
and it says:

F.C.
6298
Jacob
Denton
Sept 19, 1898

In the left middle of this square is the number 31."
