Hi Rick, Linda, and Bessie:

There actually are probably a lot of Turley researchers lurking out there.
Not a few from Ozark County. I'm the great great Grand daughter of Charles S.
Turley, born 6 Apr 1820 Lawrence Co., In and died 17 Jul 1870 Macon Co.,
Missouri. Before the Civil War he lived in Ozark County. He is the brother of
John, Ignatius, and Benjamin Franklin. All, sons of Jacob and Mary.

There are two Ignatius in Ozark County that I know of. There may be more.
This family, even more than most, named children for ancestors. This really
multiplied after a few generations of large families.

Lindy, have you checked the "Turley Family Record" book, published by the
Turley Historical Association. It's my Turley bible. Louisa appears many
times in the index, but here is no James Forest listed. As far as the book
goes, Ignatius mentioned above does not have a daughter named Louisa.

Unless somebody on this list knows something, I think your best bet may be
the very good marriage records at the Ozark County Court house.

Bessie, my line goes back to Paul also.

LaRita
