Donna-I am interested in your Bennett connection. My great grandmother was
Jane or Jincy Bennett dob 20 Oct. 1840 in Mo. She was the daughter of
Richard T. and Mary Bennett. They also had the following children:
Caroline, Nancy, Sarah, Nathan, Mary E., James R. P., Rachel and Josephine.
They appear on the Ozark 1850 Census. Jincy or Jane married my great
grandfather and lived in what was Webster County at the time.
Jane was first married to a Doctor Melton who was killed in the Civil War
before she married my great grandfather John R. Lord. She and the doctor had
one son, Albert Melton. If you have any connection to this family, let me
