I am interested in seeing if Andrew S. Smith might have purchased land in Ozark Co. MO.
They lived in Ozark Co., Bridges Twnshp. 1900 through 1920 and then Caroline Smith the wife
moved to Richland Twnsp. as Andrew had died. Any infor. would be greatly appreciated.

I have a book of Ozark County Land Patents. I'd be happy to look up names and
give you the legal description of the location of the land. I can also see whose
land borders another. The patents start in 1854.

Yes, there's one for William W. McCarty. He got land in Section 2, NESE,
Township 22-N. Range 11-W (5th prime meridian). He got the land March 27, 1861.
The land was near the east edge of Ozark Co. The nearest town was Elijah.

Alfred T. Durham is in the book, and if so the description of the land? I
would also be very interested to know the names of families bordering his
