Hello Mark

As chance would have it I happen to have the BLATTENDORFER Chronik in front
of me. I don’t think there is an English version

because the chap who sent it to me asked to have passages translated, which
I did.



The name Blaschke shows up several times. It appears to be a common name in
the village.

It also has a good map of the area.

I've been browsing through the old postings from the Moravian mailing list
and noticed the mentioning of a Blattendorf history book by Alois Rabel,
written in German. Does anyone have an English translation for it? I would
love to get a copy of it, if you do -- electronic copy would be great.



I have a Blaschke and Schlosser deep in my family tree, but at present it
is a dead end. Her name is Susanna Blaschke, born about 1767, place
unknown. She married Josef Schlosser from Daub #17, which is the
neighboring village to Blattendorf. She died 17 Aug 1813 in Daub #17. They
had a daughter, Anna Schlosser born 30 May 1793 in Daub #17.
