Thanks for the Craven info. I'm sorry, but I'm still a bit muddled. There were
several Joshuas, as you said. I see on the 1850 census HH#1236 is headed up by
Joshua Craven, aged 51, (so b. ca 1799). His wife is listed as Anna, aged 56.
His age would seem to fit him in as the Joshua that is the son of Richard &
Elizabeth. In HH#1375, headed up by widowed Jane (Craven) Harris, there is
listed Joshua Craven, aged 71, (so b. ca 1779). Also listed is Nancy Craven, age
68. My idea was that perhaps the Joshua at Jane Craven Harris' house (her
father, apparently) was a brother of Richard. All the Craven info on here
lately had started me wondering where Jane fit into the family.
