Hi Carol and all, I am SO confused now---I wrote asking about the Hardin
Centennial Book, 1870-1970 and got the reply :

> > > Yes we have a copy of it and it has lots of pictures, my husband has
some lines in that area and it is packed with information. As far as I know
there are none available unless you can find someone who has one of the
originals for sale.
My guess that chances of that are slim to none. Copies of pages can be made
of the one at the museum.

So I asked :

> > Now for the tough part, as you can see from my signature, although I'm

can

And then my husband got in touch with a childhood friend of mine who lives
in Richmond and she said that she had found out that there were 2 copies
available at the museum and were available for sale, and that I should send
my check to Attn: Carol Proffit, at the genealogical society.
What I would like to know, before I mail my check is : Are there really
a couple of copies for sale?? Cause Carole had already offered to give me a
price for copying as soon as she found out how many pages there
are---------or are we possibly talking about 2 different books????
Please let me know soon. :<) Pat, in Oregon
