Thanks for the information! I was surprised that someone responded so quickly.
I would certainly be interested in any other information you could gather
regarding Charles and Stella. I was sure that they had a son, but I couldn't
remember his name. Do you know if they had any other children?
I would also be interested in Howard's date of birth and date of death,
as well as his burial site. Also, did he have any children? Any family
information on him would be a plus for me.
Do you know if there was any relationship between the Kugler and Shirkey
families? It runs in the back of my mind that there may be. If so, I will
need to research that at a later date. I have a friend in Oklahoma City
whose mother may have been related to the Kuglers.
I remember going to Charlie & Stella's home as a young boy, and fishing
in their pond. I don't know if their old farm house still stands or not.
I was in Richmond recently for the funeral of my aunt, but didn't think
I had the time to drive out that way. I'm sure it looks MUCH different
now than I remember it!
I was born in Richmond, but moved away many years ago. I have just begun
to research my family history (something that should have been done long
ago, while my deceased relatives were still alive). Thanks for your help
in my quest.
