As with every other source, there are some inadequacies which need to be kept in mind. The source you listed is
good, but does not include all cemeteries. For example, it does not include Todd's Chapel Cemetery. Todd's Chapel
IS listed as a church (feature category) but not as a cemetery. I inquired about this & this is the response I got.

"This is in reference to your inquiry about cemeteries in GNIS. We strive to
be as complete as possible, but this is not always the case. The GNIS data
compilation program is a 25-year project begun in 1976 and still basically
on schedule. The first phase (1976-1982) included collecting all names
(except roads and highways) from the USGS topographic maps, so information
for the named cemeteries on these maps were collected, but even those
simply labeled "cem" were not. Subsequently, the names from all other
Federal sources were collected (1982-1984). After which, analysis
determined that only about 30 percent of the known names appeared on
Federal sources (for cemeteries it was a far smaller percentage);
therefore, a second phase was begun, State by State, whereby additional
names are collected from official State and local sources as well as other
pertinent and historical materials. We are approximately 80 percent
complete and one may view a color-coded map at the web site for the status
as to which States are in progress (green), complete (red), or not begun
(uncolored). Even so, if a State is complete, we cannot guarantee that
every category is complete especially cemetery since the volume and quality
of data varies greatly State-to-State and even County-to-County. Therefore,
while we anticipate discovering most additional entries (even historical
locations), there will always be those that escape detection. For features
that are not natural features, that is, cemeteries, etc., if you can
provide verifiable information, such as reference to a map or written
document with the name and location, we shall be happy to include
additional entries."
