In our research of the Clevenger families we found reference to the heirs of
Sally Broadhurst in the probate of Jesse Clevenger and Jane. From those
records we have assigned these ch to Sally Clevenger Broadhurst:
Joseph L. c. 1827 m. Elizabeth Frakes
Jane c. 1830 living with Jesse in 1850
Nancy c.1832 m. Gideon Clevenger
John c. 1833 living with Jesse in 1850
Diadema c 1833-34 A record found in Box 22, CF-6-7 File #2 drawer 1-86 Clay
Co Archives shows that "Diadema Clevenger, now deceased, formerly Broadhurst,
intermarried with Ford Clevenger, she being the daughter of Henry
Broadhurst," had had a guardian, Hiram Fugitt. The amount of $100 was
setteled upon her estate. No date shows on the document. It is possible
that Diadema was a child by another wife.
There is a m record in Ray County for Soloman Fletcher and Elender
Broadhusk(hurst) 9 Jan 1834. I dont see them on the 1850 Clay or Ray Census.
I am sure this has not cleared anything up for you, but maybe it will.
