Thanks for info. Most of what u sent is correct. The company was H. His
son, John Wesley filed for pension on behalf of himself and sister, (my great
grandmother) Delilah. I don't know if it was granted. His mother had filed
and was refused as she coldn't prove he contracted consumption as a result of
war.
John was born in Mill Grove, not Ruskin. His sister and family went to
Ruskin where some of their children, (my grandfather included) were born. John
Wesley did live there at one time. Delilah was born in Knoxville, Ray Co.,
MO. She is buried in Sutter, Sutter Co., CA. I wish I knew where all the rest
are buried.
