The story ain't over yet!

Whilst I wouldn't gainsay for a moment what George Watt says, below is what
the 1881 CD has for 128-A, dist 1, page 11, in the order presented (I've
only included the head of household to save space), with a note of pages 10
and 12. It seems reasonable to suppose all places are in close proximity,
since the sequence reflects the route of the enumerator.

Also, the Berryleys on the Craigellachie/Dufftown road is in Mortlach parish
and appears in the 1881 census in Volume 162 EnumDist 3 Page 3,
between Burnhead and Gallowslack, near Wardhead and Parkneuk - and I can see
its location clearly.

Clearly, in 1881, there are two distinct locations known as Berryleys: one
in Boharm and one in Mortlach. I would presume the Boharm Berryleys also
existed in 1812 (cf Judy's OPR quote) and disappeared sometime after 1881.

The following page 12 lists Bridge of Fiddoch, Belnajarrow [sic], and
Cruach.
The preceding page 10 has Coldhome, Newfield, and Rottenmoss.

It just goes to show!
