Hi! My name is William Innes living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I am not sure whether your John McWilliam is a relation to a Peter McWilliam
at the bottom of my
list. The area that you mentioned is to close to not look further into. None
of the following is
confirmed but the areas we are lookin into are Inveravon and Mortlach.

So here is what I have:

William innes Born; 25 Feb.1822 Died 25 Jul. 1900.
married Margaret Grant ???? Born; 1826 Died 22 May 1859
they lived at Craighead Croft near Tomnavoulin

their first daughter Margaret Born13 May 1851 Died: ???
married Alexander ( Sandy ) Mitchell ???? Born 1853 Mortlach, Banff
they had two children; Maggie and Alexander
Maggie Born 1878 Mortlach, Banff
she married Peter McWilliam.
