Hello everyone,



I just wanted to say a quick thank you to Holly and Kathryn for letting me
know their experience with the quote requests.

As it turned out, about two days after I sent the message to the list, I
received an email at home with my quote. So I am underway.



Ian, I am puzzled as to why Grampian Regional Council Archive material would
end up in the Moray Heritage Centre index, if they are not likely to have
access to it. Would this be a hang-over from boundary & responsibility
changes in the past? Will the Heritage Centre simply request the
information from Aberdeen?



Howard, thank you for the Ann McWilliam information. I always think that
any information is better than no information - at least you can weed out
the useful from the not-so-useful if you actually have something to weed
through! I don't see an obvious connection, but that doesn't mean there
isn't one there. Our John is proving to be stubborn about giving himself up
to us. We know he exists - we're all here as proof of it - but he just
doesn't want to let on any information about himself.
