This URL will take you to the MORGAN STRODE book written by Jim WHITE. Here you will find the ancestral line of Edward MORGAN who married Elizabeth BURNETT the parents of Sarah MORGAN b 1700 who married Squire BOONE, Sr on 23 July 1720 at the Gwynedd MM, Philadelphia Co, PA. Members of the Wedding party can be found in the recorded records of the Society of Friends at Gwynedd MM. This part of Philadelphia Co later became Berks Co, PA.

As to Brigadier General Daniel MORGAN b 1731 Chester Co, PA to Joseph MORGAN, Sr (son of Edward MORGAN and brother of Sarah MORGAN) who married Elizabeth LLOYD there is considerable information on this man. Starting with p 252-260 considrable detail. He married Abigail CURRY (widow BAILEY) and they had two daughters and one son. The son
Col Willoughby MORGAN b 1781 Berkeley Co,VA who died 4 April 1832 Fort Crawford, Prairie du Chien, Crawford Co, WI at age 50. He was buried 5 April 1832 in Fort Crawford Cem.

This book is 698 pages including the index and should be in the library of any MORGAN kinsman.

As to the dismissal of Squire BOONE, Sr in 1748 it was because he gave consent for his son Israel to 'marry out'
and Squire had alread had a run in with the Quakers over his daughter Sarah and John WILCOXSON who married 29 May 1742. Finally having enough of it he told the Quakers to shove it and the 1 of May 1750 left PA.
