Lectrus Grosvenor Morgret
Services for Lectrus Grosvenor Morgret, 89, of Claridon, a retired poultry farmer, will be 7 p.m. Monday at Hambden Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 9892 Old State Road, Hambden. Mr. Morgret died July 3, 1997, at his home. Born Dec. 28, 1907, in Claridon, he was a lifelong resident of Claridon. He graduated from Ohio State University in Agriculture. He instructed GIs in agricultural techniques during World War ll. Mr. Morgret was a charter member of Northeast Ohio Growers Co-op Association, serving in various capacities for 52 years. He was a Claridon Township trustee and drove a school bus for Claridon Board of Education. Mr. Morgret was a Bible School teacher and Elder for many years. He was a member of Hambden Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Survivors are his wife, Helen; sons, Raymond (Carolyn) of Yuciapa, Calif. and James (Marilyn) of Claridon; daughter, Susan (James) Molzon of Montville; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
