Margie;
Could be related. The Wilsons are from Doniphan, my Great Aunt Novella Wilson was married to Tom Wilson who died in 1960 and she died in 1966. They lived around there all their lives. She was a Rosson, father was James William from Tennessee and her mother was Rebecca E Bruce. The brother of Rebecca was Bailey Bruce who moved to Illinois and Indiana before finally moving to Ripley County. James William Rosson, Son of the above was my grandfather. He was born in Ponder and moved to Arkansas where he lived until about 1945.
The Whites are origonally from Indiana , from there Pensylvania, from Northern Ireland. I believe they were known as the Ulsters or the ones who lived in Ireland but were not considered land owners. They left before the great famine in Ireland.
James White was the first ancestar.
We will have to dig and find out the relation here. Seems I have alot of relations that lived in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee before landing here in Mo.
let me know if you figure this out. or just let me hear from you anyway.
Sheila Rosson Berube
