Pam, thank you so much for the information on the 4 Parish's. I greatly
appreciate it. Our Charles Wilson Parish (b. 1827) and William P. Parish
(b. 1854) died ca. 1880 in the Randolph/Clay Co, AR or Ripley Co, MO area
(last found on census 1800 Randolph Co, AR). I have so far been unable to
find documentation on their deaths. We were able to find the graves of
Burrel (1777-1852) & Rebecca Wilson Parish in Hardin Co, TN last month.
Their son Wilson Parish (1799-1847) is supposed to be buried in an umarked
grave in Hickman Co, KY. His son Charles Wilson, his son William Perry
(unknown death and burial), and then we find his son Bodie P. (1892-1916)
buried in New Hope Cemetery, just over the state line in Ripley Co, MO. I
would love to know more about Charles and William and their families.
Pat Mata, we have communicated in the past. Sorry to say, no new
information. Maybe your latest posting will find someone with more info.
There are Parish/Parrish's still in that 3 county area. Howver, no one
seems to be involved in their roots !! I started my family research when my
father-in-law said he had "no family." I have proven him wrong, but would
still like to know more.
Thank you,
Jonna
